American hard rockers Alter Bridge have released their self-titled new album ahead of a major tour that will bring them to Zagreb at the Boćarski Dom on Saturday, 31 January, the concert organizer LAA announced.

Their eighth studio album shows that Alter Bridge remains unwavering, with the latest single, “Scales Are Falling,” serving as another introduction to Alter Bridge, CE Report quotes HINA.

The album features a total of 12 new songs, counting among some of the band’s best releases to date. “Rue the Day,” “Disregarded,” and “What Are You Waiting For” already stand out in their catalogue, while “Trust in Me” showcases the vocal chemistry between Kennedy and Tremonti. “Tested and Able” and “Hang by a Thread” are ready for the big stage, and “Slave to Master” is one of the band’s longest tracks.

Louder Sound writes that the band “gives their best on the album. The entire album proudly stands on their metal roots and delivers the band’s sound, which feels very comfortable in its own skin.”

Metal Talk says the “album once again proves why the band has been fantastic all these years,” while New Noise Magazine notes that Alter Bridge “cement their position as rock leviathans with every new album. The new album is the culmination of their identity and integrity.”
