Taylor Swift reveals new album on podcast
Music superstar Taylor Swift announced on Tuesday the release of her 12th studio album, titled 'The Life of a Showgirl,' Reuters reports.
Swift, who has won 14 Grammy Awards, including a record four Album of the Year trophies, revealed the album during a podcast episode alongside her partner, Travis Kelce, CE Report quotes AGERPRES.
“This is my new album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl,’” Swift said while holding a blurred version of the album cover in a clip posted on Instagram from the New Heights podcast.
According to the artist’s website, the official release date of the album will be announced later.
The vinyl version of the album is available for pre-order on Taylor Swift’s website for $30. The cassette version costs $20, and a CD accompanied by a poster of the star is available for $13.
Taylor Swift, whose record-breaking 'Eras' tour was the first to exceed $1 billion in revenue, announced the new album after purchasing the original recordings of her first six albums in May, thus gaining control over her entire music catalog following a dispute with her former record label.
