Cluj-Napoca will host the Namaste India Festival on July 5–6, 2025, offering a vibrant journey into Indian culture through music, dance, traditional crafts, cuisine, and spiritual practices, CE Report quotes Agerpres

Organised by the Rabindranath Tagore Cultural Centre with support from the Indian Embassy in Bucharest, the festival will take place at Iulius Park. The two-day programme includes classical dance performances (Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi), Bhajan and Kirtan concerts, yoga sessions, workshops on Ayurveda, Vedic astrology, sari draping, and a Bollywood flashmob.

Highlights include a Kathak performance by Shreyashee Nag and the cross-cultural concert RAGA meets HORA, blending Indian classical music with Romanian folklore.

Visitors can also explore book presentations, language workshops, fashion shows, and an exhibition area with traditional Indian goods and street food.

Launched in 2010, Namaste India is Romania’s largest festival celebrating Indian culture, aiming to foster cultural exchange and showcase India’s artistic and spiritual heritage.
