A captivating new exhibition, "The Starry Sky - Mythology and Science," is now open at the National Ethnographic Museum of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. It blends Bulgarian cultural heritage and scientific breakthroughs in astronomy and cosmonautics, CE Report quotes BTA

The show explores traditional beliefs about the Sun, Moon, planets, and stars, alongside modern scientific insights. It also highlights Bulgaria's journey into space, featuring local space technology stories.

The exhibition, the result of nearly two years of work by an interdisciplinary team of ethnologists, astronomers, engineers, and designers, includes a historical narrative, a display of scientific and mythological perspectives, and an improvised planetarium film.

Visitors can see how Bulgarian folklore and cutting-edge research come together in this fascinating display of the cosmos.
