Timisoara will burst into color and rhythm on June 1 as the 24th Ethnic Communities Festival transforms the city center into a celebration of cultural diversity. Held in Union and Liberty Squares, the festival showcases 12 multiethnic artistic groups from the Banat region, including Hungarians, Germans, Serbs, Roma, Slovaks, Bulgarians, Ukrainians, Jews, and Macedonians, CE Report quotes Agerpres

Highlights include folk performances, a multiethnic dance workshop, and a standout show by the professional ensemble 'Banatul', choreographed by Grigore and Floarea Munteanu. The event, organized by the Timis County Culture and Art Center and funded by the Timis County Council, aims to promote coexistence and shared traditions.

"This festival is a joyful display of Banat's multicultural soul," said Timis County Council Vice President Alexandru Iovescu. "Here, diversity unites us."
