The 2025 edition of Firenze Rocks will kick off on June 12 with a concert by Guns N’ Roses. The festival has been held in Florence since 2017 at the Visarno Arena, inside the Cascine Park, where 110,000 spectators are expected this year, CE Report quotes ANSA.

The following day will feature Korn, and after a one-day break, Green Day will close the event on June 15.

Each day will include performances by several bands starting from 4 PM, leading up to the headline acts.

This year’s festival will again feature the “village area”, a 6,000 m² space with relaxation zones, food courts, and a dedicated kids’ area far from the stage. Like previous years, Firenze Rocks will adopt eco-friendly measures to reduce water, plastic, food, and energy waste, and promote public transport such as trams and bike rentals.

For the first time, local historic shops will offer discounts to ticket holders.

“110,000 spectators are expected at Firenze Rocks, in addition to those attending Vasco Rossi’s concerts (June 5 & 6) and Pinguini Tattici Nucleari (June 25), which are not part of the festival,” said Alessandro Bellucci of Le Nozze di Figaro, who co-organizes the event with Live Nation.

A study in collaboration with the Florence Chamber of Commerce found that 7% of past attendees visited a museum, showing how an art city and a pop music festival can be a successful combination.

The economic impact of past editions has reached €40 million, with €33 million in Florence alone, according to Chamber president Massimo Manetti.

Florence’s Culture Councillor Giovanni Bettarini emphasized that many visitors stay longer to experience the city.

The 2026 edition is already scheduled for June 11–14, again at the Visarno Arena.
