Albania gains global recognition as festival hub

Culture

A new culture of festivals positions Albania on the international map of cultural events.

This was declared to ATSH by Anisa Pollo, Director of Cultural Policies at the Ministry of Economy and Culture, as she discussed the inclusive role of festivals and their impact on improving tourist experiences, CE Report quotes ATA.

Pollo stated that a new culture of festivals is being created, which are not only for music but also for panels, discussions, and fairs.

“These activities position Albania on an international map of cultural events, offering every visitor more to see and experience,” said Pollo, noting that the statistics speak for themselves on this matter.

“Thanks to the support of such projects, we are seeing an increase in employment and other economic benefits. Music is not just entertainment but also development,” concluded Pollo.

On the second day of Muse-X, the center of Tirana was electrified until the early hours of the morning by the rhythms of electronic music, performed by some of the most well-known names in this international musical genre.

Muse-X held from April 11 to 13 in “Italia” Square in Tirana. This multi-festival dedicated to the music industry and creative arts is organized by MEKI, the Municipality of Tirana, and the “Dritëro Agolli” Foundation.
