The 64th March Music Days International Festival wrapped up on Sunday with a stirring performance of Verdi's Requiem by the Festival Orchestra and Choir of Ruse, conducted by Maestro Emil Tabakov and Choirmaster Steliyana Dimitrova-Hernani. The orchestra, celebrating the 65th anniversary of the National School of Arts of Ruse and 15 years since its formation, performed with 80 musicians from 19 countries. This marks the orchestra's tenth appearance at the festival. Stoyanova expressed her strong connection to the event, while Radomirska highlighted the challenges of the piece. Tabakov praised the orchestra's seamless collaboration despite their diverse backgrounds.

Deputy Mayor Encho Enchev awarded flautist Prof. Georgi Spassov an honorary plaque for his lifelong contribution to Bulgarian music. March Music Days, one of Bulgaria’s oldest and most prestigious festivals, continues to attract top-tier international talent every year.
