Sofia City Art Gallery will host a retrospective exhibition by artist Tekla Alexieva between December 3 and February 2. Titled Encyclopedia of the Unfathomable, the exhibition will be curated by Daniela Radeva and Lyuben Domozetsky, the organizers said, CE Report quotes BTA

"Tekla Alexieva will celebrate her 80th birthday in 2024, and Sofia City Art Gallery is the only museum institution that owns paintings by the artist, acquired in the 1980s. These two factors were the primary motivations for organizing a retrospective exhibition. The main idea of this project is to gather and showcase as many works as possible from the artist's diverse oeuvre spanning from the mid-1970s to the present," the gallery said.
