Greek Scholar to Deliver Lecture on Aegean Pottery in Sofia

In Sofia on April 18, Dr Charkleia Diamanti of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Cyclades will deliver a public lecture on "Aegean Pottery Production and Distribution from the End of Late Antiquity to the Dawn of the Middle Ages (c. AD 550-700)", the National Archaeological Institute with Museum, which will host the event, said on Facebook, CE Report quotes BTA

The lecture will present the results of research on the subject, focusing on the massive local production and distribution of amphorae and lamps in islands of the Aegean archipelagos’ commercial network between the second half of the 6th c.
