Ukrainian film wins Alpin Film Festival Grand Trophy

A Ukrainian film won the Grand Trophy at the Alpin Film Festival Brasov, an event that brought together more than 40 films from around the world, organisers announced on Sunday. CE Report quoting Agerpres

"On Saturday, September 9, at the Awards Gala of the 8th Alpin Film Festival, the Ukrainian film 'Plai- A Mountain Path' (director: Eva Dzhyshyash) won the Alpin Film Festival Grand Trophy offered by RAP Group. The film, a moving poem, charged with humanity, offers a perspective, through the eyes of two children, on the reality of war and its impact on a peasant family living in a mountain village in Ukraine," the organisers point out.
