
Francesca Bellettini new Gucci Chairwoman and CEO
Kering announces the appointment of Francesca Bellettini as Chairwoman and CEO of Gucci, reporting to the group’s new CEO Luca de Meo, CE Report quotes ANSA.
Jean-Marc Duplaix will continue as Chief Operating Officer of the French fashion and luxury group, supporting de Meo in developing and managing the organization.
As part of this change, the position of Kering Deputy CEO will be eliminated.
Bellettini joined Kering in 2003 as Strategic Planning Director and Associate Worldwide Merchandising Director of Gucci.
In 2008, she moved to Bottega Veneta, where in 2010 she became Worldwide Merchandising and Communications Director. In 2013, she was appointed President and CEO of Saint Laurent. In September 2023, she was named Deputy CEO of the entire group, responsible for brand development.
Before joining Kering, Francesca Bellettini started her career in London as an investment banker, worked in the Business Planning and Development division at Prada, and later became Operations Manager for Helmut Lang.
