Aliu suspends the environmental consent for an incinerator in Ferizaj, two commissions are dismissed

Minister of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure, Liburn Aliu, has suspended the environmental consent for the construction of a thermal incinerator for waste treatment in the city of Ferizaj. CE Report quoting KosovaPress

According to the minister Aliu, the granting of this environmental consent was done in violation of the environmental assessments and the laws in force, therefore two assessment commissions for waste management and the granting of environmental permits were dismissed.
