Radev Criticizes Anti-Corruption Commission

President Rumen Radev stated on Sunday that Bulgaria’s Counter-Corruption Commission should not continue in its current form, calling for a fundamental overhaul of its structure and role, CE Report quotes BTA

Speaking in Plovdiv, Radev said the Commission was originally created to act as a parallel prosecution body but is now being misused. “It cannot serve as a weapon in the hands of those behind the scenes,” he stressed.
