Ukraine's Novus distribution center damaged in missile attack

On the night of August 4, the logistics center of the Novus supermarket chain in Ukraine was struck by several direct missile strikes. There were no casualties.

The company’s press service reported this on Facebook, CE Report quotes Ukrinform.

“Today, the logistics center of the Novus supermarket chain suffered several direct missile strikes. Despite the extensive damage and the complete shutdown of the facility, there were no fatalities among the company’s employees or our partners; the team was in a shelter during the air raid alert,” the statement reads.

It is noted that this is the second strike on the logistics center. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed. Cleanup efforts following the attack and fire are still underway at the site.

The team is already working on redistributing inventory to ensure that stores continue to be supplied with everything they need.

As previously reported, on the night of August 5, Ukrainian enterprises, manufacturing facilities, retail, and logistics complexes were attacked by enemies. There are fatalities and injuries.

The Ministry of Economy and Environment of Ukraine has been instructed to urgently organize meetings with business representatives and develop the necessary measures to ensure the uninterrupted operation of logistics companies and retail enterprises in response to Russia’s missile terror.
