"In Tavria direction, the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the areas of Maryinka and Avdiyivka and also holds active defense in Novopavlivka and Vremivka directions. On Tuesday night, the Russian occupation forces shelled Huliaypole, using Grad multiple launch rocket systems. A civilian was killed, and a private house and an outbuilding were damaged. There are civilian casualties in Orikhiv town: 1 killed and 1 injured as a result of a strike with guided aerial bombs," Valeriy Shershen, spokesperson for the joint press center of the defense forces of Tavria direction, posted on Facebook.

According to him, the Russian invaders try to regain the de-occupied village of Makarivka, wiping it off the face of the earth with the use of aviation, artillery and attempts to use the Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower system. Stabilization operations carried out by marines of the 35th Rear Admiral Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi Separate Brigade are currently underway in this settlement.

In Maryinka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled all 14 enemy attacks near Maryinka town. Russian terrorists launched airstrikes on the outskirts of Staromykhaylivka and Krasnohorivka. The enemy also shelled Maryinka, Heorhiyivka, Maksymilyanivka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, and Krasnohorivka.

In addition, the spokesperson for Tavria direction reported on enemy attacks.

"Over the past day, the enemy attacked our positions 21 times. A total of 512 strikes were recorded. Missile and artillery units of the defense forces of Tavria direction performed 1,504 fire missions over the day. The enemy has significant losses. Over the past day, he lost almost four companies killed, wounded, and captured. Thirty-three units of weapons and military equipment were destroyed and damaged," Shershen added.

In particular, according to him, the enemy lost: a Ka-52 helicopter, six tanks, four IFVs, three MT-LB tracked armored fighting vehicles, Msta S and Msta B howitzers, Gvozdika and Akatsia self-propelled guns, Tor and Buk M2 anti-aircraft missile systems, Orlan 10 and Lastochka M drones.
