Erdogan: No Power Can Remove Gazans from Their Homeland

Türkiye

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reaffirmed on Sunday that no force can expel Gazans from their homeland, stating that Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem belong to the Palestinians, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

Speaking in Istanbul before departing for Malaysia, Erdogan dismissed U.S. proposals regarding Gaza, calling them unworthy of discussion as they are made under pressure from Israel.

He also praised Hamas for upholding its commitments in the ongoing prisoner exchange with Israel, despite what he described as Israeli attempts to disrupt the process.

On Syria, Erdogan claimed that mass graves are revealing the "bloody face" of the Assad regime. He expressed hope for stability under President Ahmed al-Sharaa and asserted that Syria must not harbor terrorist groups.
