New agro-tourism venture opens in Albania
A new agro-tourism venture, “Kulla e Zefit”, has started operations in Hajmel, Shkodër (Albania).
Founded by a family of former emigrants, it has transformed long-standing traditions and craftsmanship into a successful model, CE Report quotes ATA.
Situated among picturesque hills, “Kulla e Zefit” offers traditional local cuisine, authentic hospitality, and an experience fully intertwined with the local identity and culture. Visitors can enjoy homemade dishes prepared with regional products and learn about the family that manages the property.
This agro-tourism site also carries historical value. During her travels in the Drin Valley, the renowned British researcher Edith Durham stayed in the ancestral tower of this family in Gomsiqe, documenting the hospitality and traditions of the area.
“Kulla e Zefit” aims to become an important tourist destination in Shkodër County, promoting local gastronomy, culture, and heritage.
