Trump unveils new “Golden Card” immigration program

The U.S. government announced the launch of a new and exclusive immigration program known as the “Trump Golden Card,” which offers a direct pathway to citizenship for all qualified and verified individuals, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

“The U.S. Government’s Trump Golden Card has arrived today! A direct path to citizenship for all qualified and verified individuals. So exciting! Our great American companies can finally keep their priceless talent. The website will launch within 30 minutes! trumpcard.gov,” Trump announced on Truth Social.

“With a processing fee and, after verification by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), a payment of 1 million dollars, you become eligible to stay in the U.S. in record time through the Trump Golden Card program,” the official website states.

In addition to the “Trump Golden Card,” the U.S. administration announced an even more exclusive program — the Trump Platinum Card, intended for the wealthiest foreigners who want to stay in the U.S. without tax obligations on foreign income. The program comes with a much higher financial threshold and offers what U.S. authorities call “the highest level of access.”

“Apply now and secure your spot on the waiting list for the Trump Platinum Card. With an application fee and, after verification by the Department of Homeland Security, a contribution of 5 million dollars, you will have the opportunity to stay in the U.S. for up to 270 days without the obligation to pay U.S. tax on income earned outside the United States,” the official government website states.

Trump announced the introduction of the so-called “golden cards” in February of this year, a program intended for foreigners who want to invest in the U.S. and create new jobs.

The new “golden card” will replace the existing EB-5 immigration program, which allowed foreign investors to obtain permanent residence through large investments.
