Romanian president begins two-day working visit to France
President Nicușor Dan, on a working visit to France, was received on Tuesday by his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, at the Élysée Palace.
The head of state was welcomed by the Honor Guard and greeted at the entrance of the Élysée Palace by Emmanuel Macron, CE Report quotes AGERPRES.
Nicușor Dan is scheduled to have a working lunch with the French president.
The delegation accompanying the Romanian head of state includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Țoiu, the Minister of Economy, Radu Miruță, the acting Minister of Defense, and the Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, along with presidential advisers Marius Lazurca, Valentin Naumescu, and Radu Burnete.
President Nicușor Dan is on a two-day working visit to France, which began on Monday. On the first evening, he met with Romanians living in France at the Romanian Embassy.
On Tuesday, the head of state met with representatives of French economic companies and had a meeting with the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo.
He also attended the inauguration of "Nicolae Titulescu" Alley in Monceau Park in Paris.
