Kosovo approves agreements for Mediterranean Games 2030
At its latest meeting, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo approved the draft law on the ratification of agreements between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania regarding the Mediterranean Games Pristina 2030, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, stated that the purpose of these agreements is to ensure the successful organization of the Mediterranean Games “Pristina 2030.”
In his remarks, Kurti emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two countries for the realization of this major project.
“The aim of this agreement is to ensure the successful organization of the Mediterranean Games through a clear framework of cooperation between the two countries, where Kosovo acts as the host nation, while Albania takes on the role of partner in organizing the sailing discipline in Durres. Through this cooperation, the full implementation of obligations arising from the host city contract and relevant international documents is ensured. This project represents an important opportunity to increase Kosovo’s international profile and to develop both sport and the economy. At its core, it is a strategic initiative that strengthens cooperation between the two countries and promotes Kosovo on the international stage,” Kurti said.
