Slovenian tennis star eliminated in WTA Rouen doubles quarterfinals
Slovenian tennis player Nika Radišić failed to reach the semifinals of the WTA 250 tournament in Rouen, France.
The 26-year-old from Koper, who recently also competed at the BJK tournament in Portorož, and her Chinese partner Shuo Feng were defeated in the doubles quarterfinals by Taiwan’s En Shuo Liang and China’s Qianhui Tang 6–2, 6–4, CE Report quotes STA.
The Slovenian-Chinese duo had previously beaten the Japanese-Thai pairing of Momoko Kobori and Peangtarn Plipuech in the round of 16 of the tournament, which has a prize fund of €242,026, with a score of 6–7 (3), 6–2, 10–4.
