BCM U FC Argeș parts ways with Serbian coach
BCM U FC Argeș parted ways with Serbian coach Nebojsa Vidic, the club announced on its Facebook page.
“Today, we amicably parted ways with Nebojsa Vidic, a coach to whom we wish all the best in his future endeavors. It was not an easy decision, coming after two and a half years together. In the upcoming period, the team will be led by Andreja Marusic. We hope to see a strong desire to play on the court,” said FC Argeș team manager Sorin Căprărescu.
The separation comes after FC Argeș failed to qualify for the Final 8 tournament of the Romanian Cup, CE Report quotes AGERPRES.
On Tuesday evening, FC Argeș lost at Trivale against SCM “U” Craiova, 82-91 after overtime, after winning the first leg in the second round 95-92 in Bănie.
As reported by CE Report, in the league, FC Argeș, which has four losses in the last seven rounds, is in third place with 20 points (12 games), behind CSM CSU Raiffeisen Oradea, 25 points (13 games), and CSO Voluntari, 21 points (12 games).
