Kosovar striker second top scorer in La Liga
Kosovar striker Vedat Muriqi is celebrating his birthday today. The Prizren-born player, born on April 24, 1994, has now become one of the leading strikers in Europe thanks to his standout performances for Spanish club RCD Mallorca, which he is helping carry in their fight to stay in La Liga this season, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
“Today is the birthday of our top scorer in La Liga history. Happy birthday, pirate,” Mallorca said in its message to Muriqi.
Muriqi is currently the second-highest scorer in La Liga with 21 goals so far, just three behind Kylian Mbappé of Real Madrid.
His future could bring changes, as Turkish side Fenerbahçe has recently shown strong interest in signing him.
