North Macedonia names top athletes of 2025

The Athletic Federation of North Macedonia has announced the best athletes of 2025. Among the seniors, the awards went to Adrijana Poparsova and Andreas Trajkovski.

Adrijana Poparsova (Athletic Club Delta) and Andreas Trajkovski (Athletic Club Rabotnichki) distinguished themselves during the season with their performances, results, and consistency, setting high standards for future generations, CE Report quotes MIA.

In the youth categories, the awards were presented to:

  • Marko Aleksovski – best male youth athlete (Athletic Club Centar)

  • Melisa Dimitrievska – best female youth athlete (Athletic Club Dreni Start)

  • Eva Mitevska – best younger female youth athlete (Athletic Club Rabotnichki)

  • Mihail Stoshevski – best younger male youth athlete (Athletic Club Kumanovo)

In the pioneers category, the awards went to:

  • Vedran Nikolovski – best male pioneer (Athletic Club Kumanovo)

  • Marta Dimkovska – best female pioneer (Athletic Club Rabotnichki)

In the junior pioneers category:

  • Eljana Salai – best female junior pioneer (Athletic Club Kumanovo)

  • Arti Djeladini – best male junior pioneer (Athletic Club Kumanovo)

Trajkovski had remarkable performances, notably at the European Indoor Championships in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, where he reached the final and finished eighth. At the Balkan Championships, he won bronze medals in his events, particularly in the long jump.
