Warm Talks to Strengthen Sports Cooperation Between Albania and Azerbaijan

The President of the Albanian National Olympic Committee (KOKSH), Fidel Ylli, is on a working visit to Baku, Azerbaijan, CE Report quotes ATA.

Ylli was received at the offices of the Azerbaijan Olympic Committee by Vice President Chingiz Huseynzade, with whom he had a very warm and friendly conversation.

The main topics of discussion were focused on strengthening cooperation between the Olympic Committees in various sports disciplines.

Within this year, the two Olympic Committees, in collaboration with the respective wrestling, weightlifting, judo, boxing, taekwondo, shooting, and gymnastics federations, will sign a cooperation memorandum in Tirana.

President Fidel Ylli was accompanied at the meeting by the President of the European Weightlifting Federation, Dr. Astrit Hasani, and the President of the Gymnastics Federation, Leonard Lulaj, while also present were the Director of External Relations of the Azerbaijan Olympic Committee, Anar Begirov, and Marketing Director Sakina Viliyeva.
