Nicole McGraw, the U.S. Ambassador to Croatia, has announced a “golden age” in relations between the two countries.

It is driven by investments in energy and major funding in technology that should strengthen Croatia’s position as an energy hub and make it a regional technology leader, CE Report quotes HINA.

In an interview with Hina, McGraw said that valuable agreements on U.S. investments in artificial intelligence are expected to be signed at the Three Seas Initiative summit at the end of April in Dubrovnik, along with an agreement on gas interconnection between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina involving American investors.

She also noted that the United States is offering Croatia corvette-class combat ships and praised Zagreb as a reliable ally in NATO and a partner in peacekeeping missions.

“There is no better time to be the U.S. ambassador to Croatia. I see my mandate as an opportunity for a golden age in relations between the United States and Croatia, and I will work hard every day to achieve as much as possible for the benefit of the United States and the relations between our countries,” McGraw, who arrived in Zagreb in October last year, made the statement in reference to her diplomatic mission.
