Italian tennis player Luciano Darderi won the 35th edition of the ATP tournament in Umag after defeating Spain's Carlos Taberner 6-3, 6-3 in the final, CE Report quotes HINA.

This was Darderi’s fourth career final and his fourth title, following victories earlier this year in Båstad and Marrakesh, as well as last year in Córdoba.

He also became the fourth Italian to win the Umag trophy, following in the footsteps of Fabio Fognini (2016), Marco Cecchinato (2018), and Jannik Sinner (2022).

In the doubles competition, Monaco's Romain Arneodo and France's Manuel Guinard claimed the title after defeating the American-British duo of Patrik Trhac and Marcus Willis 7-5, 7-6 (2) in the final.

It is the pair's second title together, following their triumph at the Masters 1000 tournament in Monte Carlo in April.
