Arsenal Close to Signing Valencia star

Christian Mosquera is increasingly close to joining Arsenal. The defender, born in 2004, has long had an agreement over the terms of his contract with the Gunners, who have finally reached an agreement with Valencia, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the player, who is also part of the Spanish U-21 team, will move to London for a fee estimated to be between 15 and 20 million euros, including bonuses.

Valencia tried until the last minute to renew Mosquera's contract, which expires in 2026, but failed to convince him. The center-back was eager to move to the Premier League.

Mosquera was also on Inter's shortlist. The Spaniard met all the club's criteria: young, with potential for improvement, ready for the big stage and at a reasonable cost.

However, this track failed to materialize, and the Nerazzurri's attention returned to Leon of Parma.
