Barcelona make move for Anthony Gordon

Spanish club Barcelona has reportedly offered English side Newcastle around 70 million pounds for forward Anthony Gordon in an attempt to beat Bayern Munich to his signature, Press Association reports.

The two clubs are in advanced talks after the Catalan giants officially registered their interest in the England international, CE Report quotes BTA.

German champions Bayern Munich have also publicly expressed interest in the 25-year-old attacker.

At this stage, Newcastle have not commented on the reports, although manager Eddie Howe admitted in recent weeks that there is a possibility Gordon, who was included in England’s squad for the 2026 World Cup, could leave the club this summer.
