Dean Henderson celebrates historic Crystal Palace triumph

Dean Henderson, captain of Crystal Palace, said he still cannot fully process the club’s success in winning the UEFA Europa Conference League. The London side defeated Rayo Vallecano 1-0 in the final in Leipzig to secure the first European trophy in the club’s history, CE Report quotes BTA.

“These are very special moments, with special people. Memories that will last a lifetime. My family is here too. Yes, it’s incredible. I’m just trying to take it all in. These guys honestly amaze me. Tonight is very special,” goalkeeper Henderson said after the match against Rayo.

“This was our 60th game of the season. They have been running everywhere all year long. We had some difficult moments during the season, but on nights like this the boys definitely delivered,” he added.
