Despite multiple rain interruptions, Dimitrov played with composure, securing key breaks and serving strongly throughout. He dominated the third-set tiebreak, sealing the win with his 15th ace. He finished the match with 34 winners and only 13 unforced errors.

The victory earned Dimitrov GBP 240,000 and 180 ATP points. Sinner, who beat an injured Pedro Martinez in straight sets, leads their head-to-head 4–1, but the upcoming match will be their first meeting on grass.
