The Albanian national football team has dropped two positions in the latest rankings published by the World Football Federation (FIFA), CE Report quotes ATA.

Draws against Serbia and Latvia in Group "K" of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA have caused the national team to fall two spots in the FIFA rankings, with the red and blacks now in 68th place in the world.

Meanwhile, Kosovo continues to climb the FIFA rankings, now sitting in 95th place, two spots higher than before.

According to the FIFA rankings, Argentina holds the top position in the world, followed by Spain, which has gained one spot, and France, which has dropped one position in the overall classification.
