Veteran attacker Angel Di Maria has rejoined his boyhood club Rosario Central, the Argentine side announced on Instagram Thursday, sharing a photo of the 37-year-old signing his contract, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

Di Maria expressed his excitement on his personal Instagram: “How wonderful it is to be back home, to live in our beloved Rosario and wear the jersey of Rosario Central.”

After starting at Rosario Central in 2005, Di Maria enjoyed a glittering career with Real Madrid, Manchester United, PSG, Juventus, and Benfica, winning over 25 trophies including the 2013-14 UEFA Champions League. Internationally, he netted 31 goals in 145 matches for Argentina, helping secure the 2022 FIFA World Cup and two Copa America titles.
