Del Grosso Wins Stage 2 in Türkiye

Tibor Del Grosso of Alpecin-Deceuninck won Stage 2 of the 60th Presidential Cycling Tour of Türkiye on Monday, taking his first professional victory, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

The 21-year-old Dutch rider completed the 167.4 km Kemer-Kalkan route in 3 hours, 58 minutes, and 40 seconds, finishing ahead of Giovanni Lonardi (Team Polti Visitmalta) and Lander Loockx (Tietema Rockets).

Del Grosso also seized the Turquoise jersey as the new general classification leader. His team celebrated on X, highlighting the strong teamwork after Simon Dehairs’ Stage 1 victory.

The eight-day race, covering 1,153 km across Turkish tourism hubs, will conclude in Izmir on May 4. The event, organized by the Turkish Cycling Federation since 1963, remains one of the region’s premier cycling competitions.
