Bulgaria Wins Silver and Bronze in Tokyo

Bulgarian athletes won silver and bronze medals at the 2025 Aerobic Gymnastics World Cup in Tokyo on Sunday, CE Report quotes BTA

Trio world champions Antonio Papazov, Borislava Ivanova, and Hristo Manolov claimed silver with 19.207 points, finishing just behind China. Ivanova also secured bronze in the women’s individual event with 18.850 points, while France’s Maelys Lenclos took gold.

Ivanova and Manolov narrowly missed the podium in mixed pairs, placing fourth despite tying in points with the bronze and fifth-place teams.

Over 130 athletes from 19 countries competed at the event. Bulgaria was also represented in the judging panel by Dimitrina Kandeva and FIG delegate Desislava Bogusheva.
