Italy's Furlani strikes gold at indoor worlds

Italy's Mattia Furlani won the long jump gold at the indoor worlds at Nanjing.

Furlani, 20, who has a Senegalese mother, won bronze at last year's Olympics in Paris, CE Report quotes ANSA.

Furlani won gold with a leap of 8.30 meters, obtained on his second jump.

Silver went to Jamaican Wayne Pinnock (8.29), and bronze to Australian Liam Adcock (8.28).
