LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers has become the first player in NBA history to play both as a teenager and after turning 40. The milestone came on Wednesday in a 122-110 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team that originally drafted him in 2003, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

James, who turned 40 on December 30, scored 23 points in the game, further showcasing his enduring talent in his 22nd NBA season. A four-time NBA champion and the league's all-time scoring leader since 2023, James continues to impress with averages of 23.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 9 assists this season.

The achievement highlights James's extraordinary career, which began as an 18-year-old in 2003 and has spanned more than two decades.
