New VotCorect Platform Launches for May Presidential Election

Romania

EFOR has launched the votcorect.ro platform ahead of Romania's May presidential election to provide voters with crucial information on the electoral process and allow them to report irregularities, CE Report quotes Agerpres

The platform, available since 2016, offers guidance on voting rules, absentee ballots, special voting boxes, electoral campaigns, and filing complaints about legal violations. It also provides templates for requests and complaints and ensures that information is accessible and up-to-date.

The interactive platform includes support for voters, candidates, and journalists, with a call center available on election days. Additionally, it enables the registration of independent electoral observers to monitor polling stations and improve the electoral process.
