Moldovan PM holds first official foreign visit in Bucharest

The relationship between Chișinău and Bucharest is based on a partnership of trust and sincere friendship, Moldovan Prime Minister Vasile Tofan said today during a meeting with Romanian President Nicușor Dan in Bucharest.

Tofan thanked the Romanian president for Romania's continued support for Moldova, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.

"The relationship between Chișinău and Bucharest is based on a partnership of trust and sincere friendship. I thank President Nicușor Dan for a productive discussion on the projects that bring us closer every day—from infrastructure and the economy to our shared vision for a European future," Vasile Tofan said.

Prime Minister Vasile Tofan is paying a visit to Bucharest today, marking his first official trip abroad since taking office.

During the visit, the two sides discussed cooperation in infrastructure, economic development, and Moldova's European integration, reaffirming the close partnership between the neighboring countries.
