Moldova, Romania held joint mountain warfare drills
A group of Moldovan servicemen from the “Dacia” Motorized Infantry Brigade is taking part in a Mountain Training Camp held in Brădeț, Romania, from February 9 to 20.
The training is being conducted jointly with troops from Romania’s 9th Mechanized Brigade “Mărășești”, contributing to the strengthening of interoperability and the exchange of experience between the two military units, CE Report informs via the Defence Ministry of Moldova official website.
Over the course of two weeks, Moldovan infantry soldiers are carrying out exercises in movement and navigation in rugged terrain, survival techniques, and tactical actions adapted to mountainous environments.
The activity is being conducted in line with the 2026 External Activity Plan of the Ministry of Defense and the National Army.
