Qatar to take legal action against Israel at ICC
Qatar intends to take legal action against Israel at the International Criminal Court (ICC) after Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) targeted senior Hamas officials in Doha, the Gulf country announced last night, CE Report quotes ANSA.
Qatari State Minister Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi said on his X account that he held two meetings on the matter with ICC Deputy Prosecutor Nazhat Khan.
“I reaffirmed Qatar’s commitment to supporting the path of international justice and ensuring that those who have committed crimes are held accountable and do not escape punishment under international criminal law,” Khulaifi wrote, describing Israel’s actions as an “aggression against the State of Qatar.”
