Greece is set to acquire 13 microsatellites, financed through the EU Recovery Fund, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced on social media. The satellites will support national security, border control, civil protection, disaster response, environmental monitoring, and water quality tracking, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonia

Mitsotakis highlighted that key components are being built in Greece by local engineers, including some who have returned from abroad. During a visit to ICEYE, he viewed the first two satellites, which are scheduled for launch soon. "Something is changing," he remarked.
