Moldova, U.S. Reaffirm Strategic Partnership

Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi met with the new U.S. acting chargé d'affaires in Moldova, Nick Pietrowicz, to discuss deepening cooperation in key areas such as democratic reforms, energy security, cybersecurity, and Moldova’s European integration, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonia

According to the Foreign Ministry, they also addressed risks of foreign interference and the importance of ensuring free and fair elections this year.

Popșoi highlighted the U.S.'s crucial support for Moldova's security and institutional resilience, while Pietrowicz praised the country’s reform progress and reiterated continued American support.
