Bulgarian Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev met with outgoing Swedish Ambassador Katarina Rangnitt on Tuesday to thank her for strengthening bilateral ties during her tenure, CE Report quotes BTA

Georgiev praised Sweden's support, including providing aircraft to fight wildfires in Bulgaria. The two discussed continued cooperation within the EU and NATO, reaffirming shared positions on Ukraine, Black Sea security, and Western Balkans integration.

They also highlighted strong relations in trade, culture, and education. Rangnitt expressed gratitude for the collaboration, with both sides confident in the future of their partnership.
