Greek Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis met with his Serbian counterpart Zlatibor Lončar on Monday to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation in healthcare. The two officials highlighted plans to sign a memorandum of cooperation, with Georgiadis announcing a visit to Belgrade in October for the signing, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonia

Georgiadis emphasized the close ties between the two nations and their shared goal of improving healthcare for their citizens. Lončar echoed this sentiment, thanking Greece for its support on Serbia’s EU path and his World Health Organization nomination. The ministers agreed to work together on key areas like oncology and clinical research, aiming to implement practical, joint initiatives.
