Erdogan Eyes Renewed Mediation Role
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday voiced hope that Türkiye would once again host peace talks between Russia and Ukraine. Speaking after a Cabinet meeting in Ankara, he said, “Just as the negotiation table was established in Istanbul, the peace table will also be established in Türkiye in the near future, and this bloody war will come to an end.”
His comments follow the third round of renewed Russia-Ukraine peace talks, held in Istanbul on July 23, after previous rounds in May and June, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency
