Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis marked the 6th anniversary of New Democracy’s rule by pledging to complete the government’s second term with the same belief that “Greece can become even better.” In his weekly address, he highlighted achievements such as record-low unemployment since 2008, rising foreign investments, faster pension processing, and a strengthened National Health Service, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonia
He acknowledged that challenges remain and admitted to past management failures, notably the OPEKEPE case involving EU farm subsidies. Mitsotakis emphasized the need to instill a culture of accountability, moving away from outdated clientelistic practices. “Citizens will judge us in the end,” he said.
