China Condemns U.S. Visa Ban for Students
China “strongly opposes” the American plans to revoke visas for Chinese students.
This is the comment made by Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning, in response to the “unreasonable” initiative announced by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, CE Report quotes ANSA.
“The United States is using ideology and national security as an excuse for their actions,” Mao said, adding that Beijing “has lodged solemn protests with the U.S.”
The hope, she added, is to “move in the same direction in order to do more for the healthy development of China-U.S. relations.”
