Keir Starmer makes historic first visit to Albania

Prime Minister Edi Rama officially welcomed the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, CE Report quotes ATA.

“For the first time in Albania, British Prime Minister Starmer is making this official visit as part of strengthening bilateral relations and strategic cooperation between the two countries,” Rama stated.

During the ceremony held in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, following the playing of the United Kingdom’s national anthem and the Albanian national anthem, Rama and Starmer continued their meeting inside the Prime Minister’s Office.

After the meeting, Rama and Starmer held a press conference.

Keir Starmer’s visit also precedes the European Political Community Summit, which will be held tomorrow in Tirana, on May 16.
